My first blog...

Hi there!! We are the Whitmores - comprised of Robert (my husband), Robin (myself) and Caleb (our awesome 7-year-old son). We live in Alaska, where the beauty is everywhere and so is the cold. We have lived here for 6 months and are still trying to get used to lack of warm weather. Ok, that may not be fair. There is a definite lack of hot weather and the warmth is relative i guess. So far this summer we haven't gotten above 60 degrees F. The green all around, however, is almost too much for the eyes. I've never seen such a piercing green. All in all, we live in a very beautiful place.
